Ask the receiving venue about its rules before ordering flowers for a hotel, hospital or office. Confirm who can accept the gift, where it will be handed over and how the recipient will collect it. A florist’s delivery coverage does not override the facility’s acceptance rules.
Prepare the right receiving brief
| Destination | Confirm with the venue | Provide to the seller |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel | Guest present on that date, reception acceptance, holding arrangements and collection. | Hotel name, full guest name, stay dates, reception contact and agreed window. |
| Hospital | Whether gifts are permitted for that ward or patient and the designated receiving point. | Facility name, only necessary recipient identification, receiving contact and accepted window. |
| Office | Employee present, working hours, reception or security acceptance and collection. | Company, building, entrance, floor, employee name, phone and receiving contact. |
| Restaurant or event venue | Staff permission, booking or event identification, storage and presentation arrangements. | Venue, booking or event name, named staff contact and agreed delivery window. |

Hotel flower delivery
Check that the guest will still be staying at the hotel when the gift arrives. Use the full name on the booking and confirm whether reception accepts flowers. Ask how long the gift can be held and who will tell the guest to collect it; do not assume room delivery.
Botanica’s delivery policy says hotel handover may be to reception and that its responsibility ends at that handover. The recipient might not yet have the gift even if the seller marks the order delivered. Keep the agreed receiving instructions and ask for the receiving person if collection is unclear.
Hospital flower delivery
Ask the hospital or ward whether flowers or plants are accepted before selecting a gift. Restrictions can differ by facility, ward and patient situation. If the facility declines flowers, choose another permitted gift or arrange flowers for a later home delivery.
Use the information the receiving team requests to identify the recipient, and share only what is needed privately. Avoid giving a seller unnecessary medical details. Ask whether delivery goes to reception, another designated area or an authorized receiving contact.
Office flower delivery
Check the recipient’s working day, arrival and departure times. Give the company, floor, entrance and a reachable phone. If security or reception receives the gift, agree how the employee will collect it. Choose a manageable size and clarify whether it comes with a suitable container.
For a confidential or surprise gift, agree a receiving contact and driver instructions without sacrificing accurate contact details. A missed call, inaccessible entrance or closed office can lead to a failed attempt and another charge.
Choose a gift that fits the handover
A wrapped bouquet may need a vase. A container arrangement can be easier to keep at a desk or reception, but only if the container is actually included. A plant needs space and permission, especially in a shared facility. Confirm dimensions, inclusions and the recipient’s preference.
Botanica’s Pink Bloom Medley was $50 and Winter Whispers Bouquet was $68 on 3 October 2026, before unverified delivery and extras. These are possible catalogue directions to check, rather than a guarantee that either item is appropriate for every facility.

Timing, failed attempts and follow-up
Use the actual slots offered for the address. Botanica lists eligible same-day orders before 7 p.m. Beirut time subject to stock, destination and available slots; earlier-slot and peak-day limits may apply. Its policy describes extra re-delivery charges after some failed attempts. Venue permission and a reachable receiving contact therefore belong in the order brief.
If the gift is marked delivered but the recipient cannot find it, check the designated receiving point and ask the seller who received it and when. Use the delivery-status message template. For an item problem, keep photos and read the seller’s current claim terms.
